Terms and Conditions of Service

Effective Date: October 10, 2026
Last Updated: October 10, 2026
Website: https://seikocarservices.com

1. Agreement and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of Seiko Car Services’ website, mobile automotive detailing services, appointment scheduling systems, customer communications, and related operational services.

Seiko Car Services (“Seiko,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mobile vehicle detailing and automotive appearance care services.

By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or otherwise entering into a service agreement with Seiko Car Services, customers agree to the applicable service terms presented to them.

Use of our website does not, by itself, constitute agreement to purchase a service.

Additional terms may apply to specific services, promotional offers, or separately negotiated arrangements.

2. Description of Services

Seiko Car Services provides mobile automotive detailing and appearance maintenance services.

Depending on availability, service offerings may include:

Interior Detailing

Interior vacuuming, surface cleaning, dashboard and console care, door panel cleaning, interior window cleaning, and other included interior maintenance tasks.

Exterior Washing

Exterior vehicle washing, wheel and tire cleaning, exterior surface care, and other services included in the selected package.

Full Detailing

A combination of interior and exterior services as described in the applicable package.

Optional Add-On Services

Additional services may include pet hair removal, headlight restoration, and other specifically offered treatments.

The exact services included in each package are determined by the package description and any written confirmation provided at booking.

3. Mobile Service Availability

Seiko Car Services operates as a mobile detailing business.

Services may be performed at customer residences, workplaces, or other approved locations within our service area.

Service availability may depend on geographic location, travel distance, weather conditions, equipment availability, scheduling capacity, and site accessibility.

We reserve the right to decline or reschedule appointments where the location is unsafe, inaccessible, legally restricted, or unsuitable for the requested work.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking information and preparing their vehicle and service location for the scheduled appointment.

Customers should:

  • Provide the correct vehicle make, model, and service address

  • Disclose known vehicle damage or unusual conditions

  • Ensure lawful access to the vehicle

  • Provide adequate working space

  • Remove cash, valuables, important documents, and fragile personal items

  • Inform our personnel of aftermarket modifications or sensitive equipment

  • Disclose conditions that may affect safe service delivery

  • Ensure pets and other potential hazards are appropriately secured

Customers should remove personal property before the appointment.

We do not undertake a general inventory of items left inside vehicles.

5. Access to the Vehicle

Customers must provide authorized access to the vehicle at the scheduled service time.

Where necessary, customers may be asked to unlock doors, provide access to the trunk, or identify areas requiring special attention.

Seiko Car Services will not operate, relocate, or drive a customer vehicle without appropriate authorization.

If access is unavailable, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or canceled under the applicable cancellation policy.

6. Water, Electricity, and Service Conditions

Mobile detailing may require access to water, electricity, suitable drainage, and adequate working space.

Whether these utilities must be supplied by the customer will be disclosed during booking or service confirmation.

Some appointments may be completed using self-contained equipment where available.

We may decline to use unsafe electrical connections, unsuitable water supplies, or work areas presenting environmental or safety concerns.

7. Pricing and Service Estimates

Prices displayed on our website represent the stated prices or starting prices for the applicable services.

Final pricing may depend on vehicle size, condition, contamination level, selected add-ons, service location, and other disclosed factors.

Additional charges will not be imposed without appropriate customer authorization.

Where an initial estimate changes after inspection, the customer will be informed before additional paid work is performed.

Published promotions and discounts may be subject to stated eligibility requirements and expiration dates.

8. Vehicle Condition and Additional Cleaning Requirements

Certain vehicles may require additional labor, equipment, or specialized cleaning due to:

  • Excessive pet hair

  • Heavy staining

  • Significant dirt or debris

  • Bodily fluids or biological contamination

  • Mold or suspected hazardous materials

  • Excessive odors

  • Unusual interior or exterior conditions

Where the condition of a vehicle exceeds the scope of the selected package, Seiko Car Services may propose additional services, adjust the scope with customer approval, or decline work that cannot be performed safely.

9. Booking and Appointment Confirmation

Appointments may be requested through our website, telephone communications, Seiko Connect, or other approved booking channels.

Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee that the requested date or time is available.

A booking is confirmed only when Seiko Car Services communicates an explicit confirmation through an authorized system or representative.

Automated acknowledgments indicating that a request was received do not necessarily constitute confirmed appointments.

10. Arrival Times and Scheduling

We make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled appointment window.

Arrival times may be affected by traffic, weather, equipment issues, previous appointments, or unforeseen operational conditions.

If a significant delay occurs, we will attempt to notify the customer using available contact information.

Where practical, customers may be offered a revised arrival window or rescheduling option.

11. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers may request cancellation or rescheduling through an approved communication channel.

Cancellation notice: [Insert actual notice requirement, if any]

Cancellation fee: [Insert actual policy or state that no fee applies]

No-show or inaccessible vehicle policy: [Insert actual policy]

Any applicable cancellation or no-show charges must be disclosed to customers before booking and must comply with applicable law.

We may reschedule or cancel appointments because of unsafe conditions, severe weather, equipment failure, staffing limitations, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

12. Weather and Environmental Conditions

Because detailing services are performed outdoors or at mobile locations, certain weather conditions may affect service quality or safety.

Rain, snow, freezing temperatures, extreme heat, high winds, or other environmental conditions may require postponement.

We may decline to perform a service where weather conditions could create unsafe working conditions or materially compromise the expected result.

13. Service Duration

Estimated service times are approximate.

Actual completion times depend on vehicle size, condition, package selection, available working conditions, and additional services requested.

Seiko Car Services does not guarantee completion within an exact timeframe unless expressly agreed in writing.

14. Pre-Existing Vehicle Damage

Customers should disclose known vehicle damage, including:

  • Loose or damaged trim

  • Cracked glass

  • Deteriorated upholstery

  • Peeling paint or clear coat

  • Damaged interior controls

  • Loose wiring or aftermarket installations

  • Water-sensitive components

  • Fragile or previously repaired surfaces

Normal detailing processes may reveal or aggravate certain pre-existing conditions.

We may document visible conditions before service and notify customers when additional caution is required.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from our negligence where applicable.

15. Delicate Materials and Specialized Surfaces

Certain vehicle surfaces require specialized handling.

Examples include aged leather, delicate fabrics, aftermarket coatings, custom wraps, damaged paint, deteriorating trim, and modified interior components.

Customers are encouraged to identify sensitive materials before service begins.

Where appropriate, we may recommend a limited treatment, test a product on an inconspicuous area with permission, or decline a procedure that presents unreasonable risk.

16. Stain, Odor, and Contamination Removal

Not all stains, odors, or contamination can be completely removed through standard detailing.

Results depend on factors including the age of the stain, material composition, previous cleaning attempts, contamination depth, and overall vehicle condition.

Seiko Car Services does not guarantee complete removal of permanent staining, embedded odors, discoloration, or contamination unless a specific written guarantee is provided.

Some conditions may require specialized remediation beyond the scope of ordinary automotive detailing.

17. Exterior Paint and Surface Care

Exterior detailing is intended to clean and maintain vehicle surfaces according to the selected package.

Standard exterior washing does not automatically include paint correction, scratch removal, dent repair, repainting, or permanent restoration of damaged finishes.

Customers should not assume that existing scratches, oxidation, clear-coat failure, or paint defects will be corrected unless specifically included in an agreed service.

18. Headlight Restoration

Where headlight restoration is offered, results depend on the condition, age, material, and extent of deterioration.

Restoration may improve appearance or clarity, but complete restoration and long-term resistance to future oxidation are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in a separate service warranty.

Headlight restoration is not a substitute for necessary replacement of damaged or unsafe lighting components.

19. Pet Hair Removal

Pet hair removal may require additional labor and specialized equipment.

Complete removal cannot always be guaranteed, particularly where hair is deeply embedded in carpet fibers, upholstery, or inaccessible areas.

Additional charges, if applicable, will be disclosed before the customer authorizes the work.

20. Personal Property and Valuables

Customers should remove valuables, cash, jewelry, important documents, electronics, and other sensitive belongings before detailing begins.

Our personnel may need to temporarily move ordinary loose items to access cleaning surfaces.

We will use reasonable care when handling customer property.

Customers should notify us promptly if they believe an item was damaged, misplaced, or improperly handled.

These Terms do not eliminate rights or remedies available under applicable law.

21. Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction

We aim to provide professional service consistent with the selected detailing package and the reasonable condition of the vehicle.

Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle after service completion.

If a customer believes that an included service was not properly performed, they should contact us promptly with a description of the concern and, where helpful, supporting photographs.

We may review the matter and determine whether corrective service, a partial refund, or another appropriate remedy is warranted.

22. Complaints and Service Disputes

Customers may submit concerns through our designated support channels.

To facilitate review, we may request:

  • The appointment date

  • The vehicle description

  • The service purchased

  • A description of the issue

  • Relevant photographs or documentation

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate legitimate complaints.

Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under Minnesota or other applicable law.

23. Payments and Billing

Payment methods accepted by Seiko Car Services will be disclosed during booking or invoicing.

Payment is due according to the terms communicated for the particular service.

Any required deposits, prepayments, or additional charges must be disclosed before collection.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information and paying authorized charges.

We may use third-party payment processing providers to complete transactions securely.

24. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the service, the circumstances of the complaint, and applicable consumer protection laws.

Refund requests will be reviewed based on the services purchased, work performed, documented concerns, and any specific written guarantees.

Any published refund policy must accurately reflect our actual business practices.

These Terms do not waive statutory refund rights or other remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

25. Service Limitations

Seiko Car Services may decline services involving hazardous conditions, unlawful activity, unsafe environments, or work outside the scope of our equipment and expertise.

Examples may include suspected hazardous chemical contamination, unsafe electrical components, significant biological hazards, or conditions requiring specialized professional remediation.

We may recommend that the customer obtain appropriate specialized assistance.

26. Authorized Personnel and Independent Contractors

Services may be performed by authorized employees or independent contractors acting on behalf of Seiko Car Services, subject to applicable arrangements.

Personnel are expected to follow applicable operational procedures, customer privacy requirements, and reasonable professional standards.

The use of an independent contractor does not automatically eliminate responsibilities imposed on Seiko Car Services by applicable law.

27. Seiko Connect Automated Customer Assistance

Seiko Car Services may use Seiko Connect to assist with telephone inquiries, customer intake, service requests, appointment coordination, and operational communications.

Customers may interact with an AI-assisted system rather than a human representative.

Automated responses are intended to assist business operations and may not always reflect final availability, pricing, or service eligibility.

Customers should rely on an explicit booking confirmation rather than an unconfirmed automated acknowledgment.

Where legally required, callers will receive appropriate notice and consent opportunities relating to AI-assisted communications, recording, or transcription.

28. Internal SMS Dispatch Program

Seiko Car Services operates an SMS notification program to communicate with authorized detailers and other approved service personnel.

The program supports operational matters such as:

  • New service assignments

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Service addresses

  • Vehicle information

  • Customer instructions relevant to the assigned work

  • Schedule modifications

  • Cancellation notifications

  • Job completion coordination

The SMS dispatch number may be different from our public customer service telephone number.

Enrollment is voluntary and subject to appropriate consent.

29. SMS Consent and Enrollment

Eligible participants must provide consent before receiving recurring automated operational SMS notifications where required by law.

Consent may be collected through an approved enrollment form or another documented method that satisfies applicable requirements.

Providing a telephone number for ordinary business contact does not automatically constitute consent to recurring automated messaging.

Consent to operational messaging does not authorize unrelated marketing communications.

30. Message Frequency and Carrier Charges

Message frequency varies depending on the number of service requests, assignment activity, and operational requirements.

Message and data rates may apply.

Mobile carriers may impose charges under the recipient’s wireless service plan.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

31. SMS Opt-Out and Assistance

Recipients may discontinue SMS participation at any time by replying:

STOP — To opt out of the SMS program.

HELP — To request messaging assistance.

Following a valid opt-out request, further program messages will cease, except communications permitted by applicable law.

Support is also available through the contact methods identified below.

32. SMS Privacy and Data Protection

Mobile telephone numbers and SMS opt-in information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Authorized telecommunications and technology providers may process messaging information solely as necessary to operate the program and provide contracted services.

For additional information, review our Privacy Policy:

https://seikocarservices.com/privacy-policy

33. Customer Information in Dispatch Messages

Operational SMS notifications may include limited customer information necessary for an authorized detailer to perform an assigned service.

Recipients must maintain the confidentiality of customer information and use it only for authorized service-related purposes.

Customer information must not be used for unauthorized solicitation, resale, or unrelated business activity.

34. Marketing and Promotional Communications

Seiko Car Services may advertise its services through approved marketing channels.

Promotional SMS communications, if introduced, will be governed by applicable consent and messaging requirements.

Enrollment in an operational detailer notification program does not automatically authorize promotional messages.

Any future marketing messaging program may require separate disclosures, consent procedures, and registration information.

35. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original website content, branding, logos, graphics, written materials, and other proprietary business materials belong to Seiko Car Services or their respective lawful owners.

Unauthorized copying, reproduction, redistribution, or commercial exploitation of protected materials is prohibited to the extent permitted by law.

36. Acceptable Website Use

Visitors must not misuse our website or associated communication systems.

Prohibited conduct includes attempting unauthorized access, introducing malicious software, submitting fraudulent booking requests, interfering with operations, or using our systems for unlawful purposes.

We may take reasonable action to protect our systems and customers from misuse.

37. Third-Party Technology Providers

Our business may utilize third-party platforms for telecommunications, payment processing, scheduling, website hosting, and workflow automation.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Seiko Car Services is not responsible for matters outside its reasonable control, subject to applicable law and any obligations arising from its selection or use of those providers.

38. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Seiko Car Services is not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as severe weather, public utility outages, or independent network disruptions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for negligence, property damage, misconduct, or other matters where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Any enforceable limitation of liability must be interpreted consistently with applicable consumer protection requirements.

39. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Service performance may be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, governmental restrictions, and significant infrastructure outages.

Where such circumstances prevent timely service, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with affected customers and arrange an appropriate resolution.

40. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws of the State of Minnesota, subject to applicable federal law and any mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional requirements.

Nothing in this provision deprives a customer of rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

41. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

42. Changes to Terms

Seiko Car Services may revise these Terms to reflect changes in services, pricing practices, technology, or legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be published with a revised effective date.

Changes will not retroactively alter existing contractual obligations where prohibited by law.
